Art gives me a way to exist, to express myself in a society that wants to keep us quiet.
It allows me to connect with my peers. Those who have the same spirit, the thinkers, philosophers in spite of themselves. Those who speak the same language, hear the same songs and see the same beauty. It opens the doors to philosophy, psychology, sociology …
Art also puts me in a trance, a state of adrenaline and peace. The feeling of being alive on another plane. I can feel my heart and body start to vibrate from one second to the next.
Sometimes our art speaks and says more to ourselves. He tells things that only the viewer can hear.
Art brings me liberation, meaning, a subtle mission.

Looking back I wonder if I can define my inspirations. I never really know what will affect me. And how I would interpret it. There are also unconscious inspirations that take years to see and understand. Inspiration arrives without warning, it is everywhere, it is in everything. And sometimes nowhere. In the total void.
